The beginning of anything is always the start. The beginning can also be referred to as the exposition. When referring to literature it's when the story begins to tell what happens. It is usually when the characters and setting are developed. Often in Shakespeare, the beginning is when the reader gets to know the people and is usually the first act.
However the end is when everything is finished. It can also be called denouement. At the end of a story or really any literature, it is when all the problems have been solved and the reader knows what happened to the main character.
These are also two things that go hand-in-hand and cannot happen without the other because what begins must end. hey simply follow each other.
